Through the use of the BauGrid® Reinforcement System which was developed for the above project, Baumann Engineering was able to re-engineer the project for a lower seismic factor, reducing 10" thick shearwalls to 7" thick shearwalls, a tremendous savings in concrete, as well as reinforcement.
